Auckland Audio's dedicated team of sound designers are experienced with all aspects of audio & music production and are responsible for many high profile advertising campaigns, films, television programmes & music releases both nationally and internationally.
Our specialist music engineers and composers create original stings, beds and musical FX to complement all visual and aural campaigns. We also have extensive production music and SFX libraries available instantly through our networked studios. All Auckland Audio suites are loaded with state of the art ProTools HD systems.
We provide our clients with high quality service and innovative concepts for any project or campaign. We are always willing to expand the services we offer to cater for the individual needs of our clients and Auckland Audio facilities and engineering staff are available 24/7 for service on a global time scale.

Television Programmes
Auckland Audio is New Zealand's leading facility when it comes to programme mixing. From quick turn-around magazine shows to more sophisticated documentary style shows, our engineers polish your product with extreme care and detail.
The programme takes a journey from the OMF stage through to narration recording, dialogue editing, atmos and SFX layering to final mix and lay back to master. We can also help you with pre-production by supplying library music searches and original compositions.
Film
We are equipped to take any Film project on board. Be it ADR recording, foley, SFX and final mix, our engineers can deliver the best results.
Auckland Audio has provided audio post services for short and long form films such as; River Queen, Memory Booth, Futile Attraction, The Secret Paperboy, Amy’s Break, The Last Words, Dungeon Siege, and This Is Her.
ISDN / Source Connect
With our codec we can record and send audio with virtually any studio in the world that's equipped for ISDN connections.
Source Connect ® is gaining popularity around the world with its flexibility and ease of use. It's also a cheaper alternative to your remote sessions.
Library Music and SFX Searches
Auckland Audio has an extensive collection of sound effects libraries. Just give us a list or a brief to explain your needs.
We also house major music library random access systems including Beat Box, X-treme, Focus, Fable, BMG, Big Bang Fuzz, Adrenalin, and Sonoton. These libraries are keyword searchable over our local network.
TV and Radio Commercials
A large percentage of Auckland Audio's clientele are TV and radio commercial producers and agencies. The sessions can be as simple as a cold voice over recording, mixed with music, or an extensive sound design session involving ADR, atmos, sound effects, and foley.
With the help of our experienced engineers and state-of-the-art digital editing and processing capabilities, your vision will be realised by means of soundscaping.
IVR / Telephony
We are experienced in supplying telephony recordings for big corporations.
Auckland Audio produces TELECOM NZ's breakthrough voice recognition phone service recordings.
We also record IVR messaging for many companies & organisations including Mercury Energy, Trust Power, Telecom, Fonterra, and ASB Bank.
Multimedia / Virals
We do voice recordings and sound design for virtually any medium. Our engineers optimise your audio to be best reproduced on computer devices and the like.
We produce internationally distributed audio books, and educational CD-Rom Audio for companies like Sunshine Books, Virtual Medical, etc.

Music Services
Auckland Audio is expanding its music department and has recently enlisted the composition talents of "THE GOOD SHIP" which is headed by Goldenhorse's Ben King. Ben has unleashed his talents on the new Colourplus music bed.
Other developments in our music department is the establishment of a mastering service. For $200.00 (excl gst) we will master a track/song. For more information

We have a large room (~35m2) to accomodate live performers. This room can be accessed from two of the suites for added felixibility. Any of the other booths can be utilized as "iso booths" if so desired. For a list of gear for music productions please

Video Services
With our dedicated video suite we can now offer services such as station dubs, format conversions, and color correction all at broadcast resolution. Word of Mouth Talent Agency is located under the same roof as Auckland Audio’s Anzac Avenue premises. The longest running voice agency in NZ, WOM has become one of the country’s largest and most respected agencies.If required, WOM and AA can offer the convenience of a one-stop-shop and produce their clients' scripts from start to finish and have them delivered in the best format at lightning speed.
If we don’t currently offer the service you need we have suppliers who can fulfil your requirements; whether it be large run duplication of DVD or CD masters, screen printing onto your media or other supplements, voice talent, translation services or studios in other cities, there is nothing we can’t source to assist in the completion of a client’s project or campaign.
